The Veterinary Medical Center of CNY is looking for new and experienced ER docs. At the VMC emergency clinicians work alongside the specialists, which include critical care, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, medical oncology, and cardiology. Our pain management service includes physical rehabilitation, acupuncture, chiro and laser. The emergency service is currently supported by 3 criticalists, providing ample opportunity to learn new skills and enhance knowledge base.

Our clinical staff fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and cooperation, and our practice philosophy allows us to attract top level support staff for all of our services. Veterinarians also benefit from the support and resources provided by the VMC’s experienced, forward thinking management team. The region is home to a large number of referring veterinary facilities, and the VMC enjoys a comfortable, highly interactive relationship with this diverse veterinary community.

Emergency clinicians work an average of thirteen shifts per month with ample time off to play! The ER schedule has been constructed to allow for a balanced life style, and we seek regular feedback from the ER docs to make necessary adjustments.
